SPAR Lifelong Learning Programme
This programme offers many levels of training for those aspiring to Supervisor, Management or even
Owner, or simply for those wishing to specialise in a particular area that is relevant to their job.

When discussing training and especially Lifelong Learning, we often hear from some of our more
mature staff, or those that have worked in the retail industry for many years that training is not really
relevant to them. However, we must remember how quickly retail technology has evolved over the
years and how our jobs have changed as a result of this. These training programmes offer support and
guidance to not only give confidence but can lead to a national award.
A member of the Training Department at CJ Lang and Son Limited would be delighted to carry out a
‘Training Needs Analysis’ of your business and prepare a Training Plan to suit your needs.
Just phone the department to get a list of courses currently available. However, if there is a training
need that is not met by of the above courses, we can devise (or source from another Training Provider)
one that is applicable.
